Type 6393 raised floor

Type 6393 raised floor consists of conductive PVC tile, plastic strip, panel, stringer, pedestals, bolts and shock absorbtion pad. The panel is made of good quality punched and spot welded steel sheets and stuff. The top surface of sheets has been phosphorated and then coated with epoxy powder. The back of bottom sheet has been galvanized. The stuff is light foamed cement. The surface of the top steel sheet is attached with strong abrasion resistant and fireproof conductive PVC tile. The borders of the panel are attached with conductive plastic strips. The panel is supported with the stringers and placed on the pedestals and then fixed with bolts. Its concentrated load is about 3600N. Type 6393 raised floor is mainly used for large post, communication center and telecommunication center.

Type 5899 wood core access floor

The sizes for the panel of Type 5899 wood core access floor are 550*550*33mm. The wood core is made of MDF. The back and surface of the wood core are covered by zinc plated steel sheets. The thickness of the steel sheets is 7mm. The 4 sides of wood core are protected with black plastic strips. The stringers under the panel prevent magnetic disturbance and improve the anti-earthquake proof performance. The panel is filled with non-toxic sparkling cement. The 4 edges of the panel are with wire tanks for wire purpose. The sizes of the wire tank are 600*195mm. Its edges are die-pressed. The wire in the tanks can reach any place of the floor. The impact load and distributed load of type 6937 raised floor are 52kgs and 1160kgs separately.

Engineered OA raised floor

Engineered OA raised floor consists of laminated cover, steel panel and understructure system.

The laminated cover can be strong anti-wearing and conductive PVC or HPL tile. Various designs are available for laminated covers to offer beautiful look.

The panel is made up of cold-rolled steel sheets and the foamed cements in the cavity of the panel. The surface of the top steel sheet has been phosphorated and coated with epoxy powder. Then the sheets are punched and spot welded to contain the foamed cement. Cable tanks are on the double sides of the panel for the purpose of convenient wire and nice look. The 4 sides of the panel are trimmed with black PVC strips.

There are 3 types of understructure systems: 1. stringer bolt understructure system; 2. corner-lock freestanding understructure system; 3. snap-on understructure system. The systems are mainly made up of bolt, shock absorbing and pedestal.

Engineered OA raised floor is mainly used in hospital, large computer room, electrical control room, high grade classroom, communication center, electrical control room, telecommunication center, etc.

Why does bamboo flooring warp?

Sometime the problem of warp happens on bamboo flooring. There are several possible reasons for the problem:

1. Bamboo flooring(B) is affected by air humidity. The water content of B must be low for dry area, while it should be comparably higher for damp area. B will possibly warp if the air humidity is quite different from the water content of B.

2. The gaps haven’t been kept among each plank during installation. 0.2mm gap must left there for expansion purpose. Otherwise the planks are easy to warp when they expand.

3. There was no gap kept between wall and B during the installation. Or the gap is too little. The gap should at least 5mm wide, otherwise warps is easy to happen.

4. Expansion space hasn’t been kept in big room during the installation. Expansion space must be kept if the installation area is over 9m*10m. The related accessories such as T-moulding or reducer can be used to cover the expansion space.

5. B is dunked in water. Bamboo flooring is strong moisture resistant. But it is not water resistant. If the planks are dunked in the water from kitchen or washroom for a long time, it will expand in big sizes and warp.
