China bamboo flooring | Access floor | Raised floor

Both of the products have their own features.

1. Bamboo flooring(BF) is more durable than most hardwood flooring(HF) as well as cheaper.  The life time of bamboo can be over 20 years. BF is harder. And its foot feel sense is not as good as HD.  But its swelling rate is lower thatn HF. So BF is more moisture resistant.

2.BF is made from bamboo which matures in less than 3 years, which make it a very renewable resouce for floor covering materials. HF is made from trees which are often over 50 of years old and often leads to deforestation.

3. BF just has colors of carbonized type, natural type and newly developed distressed type, while HF has various colors: oak, birch, beech, walnut, cherry, sapelli, teak, applewood, maple, pine, elm, mahogany, hickory, etc.  The color difference for BF is little, while it is big for HF. This is because the radius of bamboo is much less than that of hardwood. And the sunlight can’t affect the color of bamboo too much. 

4. The installation cost for them are the same because their installation method is exactly the same.

Now the prices of China bamboo flooring and access floor are a big headache for many customers and suppliers from whatever domestic market or oversea market: The prices continue to appreciate rapidly.

Many customer talked with their suppliers about prices one or two months ago. Now the customers are ready to place an order with the manufacturers and they haven’t talked abou the prices in the past time. But the manufacturers can’t offer the customers with the previous prices and require that the prices needed to be discussed again. The manufacturers increase the prices a great deal! The customers are very upset with this as they have the previous target prices. Or the customers have discussed with their own customers and agreed on the prices based on the prices which the manufacturers offer before. Some of them discuss with other manufacturers to seek low prices. However, the customers find that they can’t get the previous low prices. All the manufacturers have increased the prices. Some of the customers cancel or redue their order at last. Now if customers talke with the manufacturers for the prices first and then place order after 1 month,the manufacturers are even sure wheter their quoted prices are high enough to secure a narrow profit

There are several things leading to the appreciation:

1. The prices for raw materials for the relevant products appreciate rapidly in China. And the price of  the products in China goes up according. This is one of the main factor for the appreciation.

2. The exchange rate of RMB continues to go up rapidly, so more dollars need to be paid for the same goods now.  This is an important factor for the appreciation.

3. Labor becomes more and more expensive in China, which add to the cost of the products.

Some customers have a question: “I know bamboo flooring made in China is cheap. But I don’t know how to choose a manufacturer. Sometime, there is bad news about China products. So I need to be careful when selecting one.  Can you tell me some way to find a good one?”

Our answer:

Yeah, China bamboo floorng is cheap. But our quality is very high. Bad quality doesn’t have certain relationship with China products.  Most China manufacturers know the importance of quality. And we take various ways to improve quality: adopt international quality management system, import advanced machinese from abroad and make employee receive formal work training, etc.

There are several ways to find a good supplier from China: 

First: 1. You can visit manufacturer’s websites.  Most of the manufacturers have set up their own websites. You can find much useful information from their websites: product pictures, product parameter, company introduction, company history, workshop photos, company leader, contact information, quality instruction. Most probably you can find your interested products from the website. Then you can choose some manufacturers to email or call them for further informations such as price list. You can ask the selected manufacturers to send you some samples for you to check if you think the prices is workable. You can place order if the samples and other trader terms such as payment term are ok.

Second, You can attend some international shows to find such a good supplier. Now there are many shows which China manufacturers take part in. You can attend these fairs, check their products and talk with us. Face to face talk makes the business direct and fast.

Third, you can come to China to visit the relevant factories. Factory visit is the best way to check and choose suppliers.  You can have an appointment with several factories in advance. At factories, you can visit the showroom, workshop and office to have a visual feel and check of the factory. At last, you can choose a factory to place order.  Our factory is near Shanghai, China.  It only takes about 2 hours for you come to our factory from Shanghai by car or by train.

Access floor can be dividened into 5 types.

1. Full steel antistatic type

Stucture: 1. Surface: HPL or PVC covering; 2. Steel shell infilled with cement; 3. Zinc plated steel pedestal
Installation height: more than 100mm(normal height: 150mm/200mm/250mm)
Dimensions: 600*600*30/35mm
Features: better antistatic and carrying capacity and faster installation.
Suitable places: equipment computer room, cener control computer room, computer classroom, etc.

2. Aluminium alloy antistatic type
Structure: 1.Strong abrasion resistant HPL or PVC layer; 2. full aluminium panel; 3. Zinc plated steel pedestal
Installation height: more than 80mm(normal height: 150mm/200mm/250mm)
Dimensions: 600*600*35/40mm
Features: better antiseptic, longer life time and luxury apperance.
Suitable places: electric workshop such as electromagnetism screen workshop and micro-electronics workshop.

3. Ceramice surface antistatic type
Structure: full steel panel, ceramic surface, zinc plated steel pedestal
Dimensions: 600*600*30/35mm,  500*500*30/35mm
Installation height: more than 80mm(normal height: 150mm/200mm/250mm)
Features: Strong wearing resistance, longer life time, luxury look.
Suitable places: government office, OA computer room.

4. Perforate type
Stucture: Its structure is similar with full steel type. But its lumen is hollow instead of filled with cement. There is blowhole on the top surface, upper and down steel panel.
Features: ventilated rate: 20%-40%. The ventilated rate can be adjusted between 0-40%.
Dimensions: 600*600*30/35mm
Suitable places: computer room, control room of broadcasting station, electronic equipment installation workshop, etc.

5.  Woodcore panel type
Structure:  high density flakeboard, high abrasion resitant veneer, electric strip around 4 sides, aluminium foil.
Features: nice look, strong durability, antistatic, waterproof, fireproof, electronmagnetism proof, etc.
Suitable places: library, electric reading room, computer room, etc.

Bamboo flooring is made up of glued bamboo planks which is processed with hih pressure and high temperature. The prodcts is innocuous, stong impact resistant, strong moisture resistant, hard to be transmutative,  hard to craze and strong  mothproof. There is wear resistant paint on its surface, which make it fireproof, abrastion resistant.  Its life time can last over 20 years. It is of slap-up decorative materials for living room, bedroom, hotel, office, boardroom, reception room, showroom, gymnasium, sanctum, pub, etc. It is not suitable for the 1sth floor or basement which doesn’t have good way to resist moisture, places which are touched by water, large indoor pulic, pub channel, etc.

The product is dividened into 2 types: horizontal pressed type and vertical pressed type in terms of its surface structure. Horizontal type means the planks to make the product are  pressed on horizontal direction.  Vertical type means the planks to make the product are  pressed on vertical direction.   And  it also can be  dividened into 2 types: natural type and carbonized type in terms of the process method. The natural type remains its natural color, while the carbonized type is treated with high temperature and high pressure carbonized process and the carbonized process make its color deeper and coherent.

The reqirement for the raw material for it is very strict.  Only middling and choice bamoo planks are suitable for the maerial of the product.

The normal sizes of the product are 960mm*96*15mm, 1800mm*91mm*12mm, 915mm*91mm*12mm. The sizes can be decided by you within some dimension range: (length: 48-226cm; width: 6-15cm; thickness: 12-30mm)
