1. If the surface is of steel panel, the same type of lacquer can be used to paint and cover the scratches.

2. If the surface is of wood, the panel should be replaced with new one to get rid of the scratches.

3. If the surface is of HPL, ceramic tile or PVC type, the inter material is the same as the surface, the scratches don’t affect the look of raised floor too much. It is better to use brush to make the scratch and the neighboring area looks the same.

Our answer:

There are several possible reasons for the creaking:

1. The beam is not flat. The beam should be processed to be flat before installation. The planks will be put on the uneven subfloor if the beam is not flat enough or even the process hasn’t been done. Creaking happens on the planks after installation accordingly

2. The beam hasn’t been fixed firmly. The right way to fix the beam to punch with electric hammer first, insert wooden stopper, and then fix the beam with staple. Some installer nail the beam with staple directly. And the beam get loose after some period.

3. The staple quality is no good. The maple nailed on the beam don’t work well after some period. Then the beam is fixed firmly.

In case of creaking, you need to take apart the floor and install it again with right way.

1, Hold a plank of B and check the surface from various direction to see if the surface of B is smooth and if the texture is clear. If the suface is as smooth as mirror, its wear-resistant is good. The carbonization and the degree of carbonization also can be checked from the surface. The age of B also can be checked from the surface. The raw material can’t be used to make B it is not over 5 years. The raw material is too young if the texure of the surface is not clear.

2. Hold 2pcs of connected planks to check the height difference. Its life time will be shorter if the height difference is too big.

3. Check if the edge of BF is straight and regular. If not, the installation will be no good. |

4. Check it the paint is spray-paint or roller-paint. Roller-paint will make the paint layer looks thicker and the paint layer not wearing resitant. Strike 2 pcs of planks each other. It is roller paint, if the paint layer drops.

1. Bamboo flooring(B) is more durable than most hardwood flooring(H) as well as cheaper. The life time of bamboo can be over 20 years. B is harder. And its foot feel sense is not as good as H. But its swelling rate is lower thatn H. So B is more moisture resistant.

2.B is made from bamboo which matures in less than 3 years, which make it a very renewable resouce for floor covering materials. H is made from trees which are often over 50 of years old and often leads to deforestation.

3. B just has colors of carbonized type, natural type and newly developed distressed type, while H has various colors: oak, birch, beech, walnut, cherry, sapelli, teak, applewood, maple, pine, elm, mahogany, hickory, etc. The color difference for B is little, while it is big for H. This is because the radius of bamboo is much less than that of hardwood. And the sunlight can’t affect the color of bamboo too much.

4. The installation cost for them are the same because their installation method is exactly the same.

Many customer talked with their bamboo floring and access floor suppliers about prices one or two months ago. And the customers haven’t noted that the quotations had expired. Now the customers are ready to place an order. But the manufacturers can’t offer the customers with the previous prices and require that the prices should be increased a great deal! The customers are very unsatisified with the new quotation. But they find now they can’t get obviously lower prices from China other relevant manufacturers.  Some of the customers cancel or redue their order at last. Now if customers talke with the manufacturers for the prices first and then place order after 1 month,the manufacturers are even sure wheter their quoted prices are high enough to secure a narrow profit.

There are several things leading to the appreciation in this month:

1. The prices for raw materials for China bamboo flooring and  access floorappreciate rapidly in China. And the price of  relevant products in China goes up accordingly. This is one of the main factors for the appreciation.

2. The exchange rate of RMB continues to go up rapidly, so more dollars need to be paid for the same goods now.  This is an important factor for the appreciation.

3. Labor becomes more and more expensive in China, which add to the cost of the products.
